A FAREWELL TO ALL

To all my blogging buddies that I have enjoyed sharing stories, recipes, comments and life's adventures with, I regretfully need to let you know this is my last post. One of the reasons is that I have started back to work and allthough, I would love to come home and blog with you all every afternoon, I know that my family needs my full undivided attention. Another reason, I feel the need to pull away from blogging is my Dad and Mom are both very sick and my Mom especially needs my attention.

Allthough it has been a short time in the blogging community for me, I have met some really nice friends and enjoyed reading your blogs daily for two months and commenting on them.

I hope that I have helped to touch your lives in some way, whether serious or funny and that I have most of all shared how God loves you and that his mercies are new every morning.

I wanted to leave a little salute to some of you who have inspired me to be a better person

1. Fuschia at Living in the Land of Pink - Thanks for teaching me about being a proper 'Tea' person and for inspiring me with your words of wisdom. You Rock!!! and God has big things in store for you and your family.

2. Alicia at Alicia's Lingerings - Thank you for showing me what a really good writer is all about. Your stories not only inspire me but are always so well written. And thanks for being there for my family (you are a true blessing:)

3. RhoDelta at Coffee and Chaos - Thank you for all your funny stories and for keeping it real with what a family is all about.

4. Linda at 2nd Cup of Coffee - My new found friend, I love your blog posts, they make me laugh and some of them made me cry. My favorite was the videos, what a wild day that was.:)

6. Beachy Mimi - Thanks for everyday making me laugh! I know if we lived in the same town that we would be great friends.

7. Connie at Connie's Turning 50 - Thanks for the Bible studies and keep up the great work at being Bella's Grandmother.

8. Joanna at Bug's In My Teeth - Thanks for everday taking me into your crazy and fun world. You make me laught so loud that I want to pee! or is that snarklefart?

9. skoots1mom at My Hands His Glory - Thanks for the encouragement of your blogs and for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ

10. Dot at Picket's Place - Thanks for sharing all your delicious recipes with me and for your crafty ideas.

11. Roxanne Kristina - Thanks for being a 'TRUE' Christian blogging buddy, everyone should be so lucky to have you to blog and comment with. I will truly miss you :)

12. Sue at The Cotton Patch - Thanks for always taking me back in time and remembering that where we came from was good and has made us who we are today. Also, thanks for all your crafty ideas.

13. The Roost - Thanks for sharing those beautiful 'Grammy' moments with me. Keep loving that baby

As I close this blogging experience, I would like to leave you all with one bible prayer:

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray that in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light." Colossians 1 9-12

And my last blog pondering of the day is:

Will there be blogging buddies in heaven? I sure hope so and I hope I get to meet all of you there !!!

Edwina,
I am so sorry that you are having to say good-bye to blogging (for now). I do understand the reason because I remember when I worked and had my mother to take care of also. It took much time and luckily (I guess), my husband coached and wasn't home until late so I had enough time to take care of her and then come do the home duties. I don't have any regrets because I know that I took the time that I should have to spend with her those last years. I will be praying for you and your family and hope that when you have time you will still stop by and leave a comment to let me know how you are doing. If you are able to start blogging again PLEASE let us know. Thank you so much for your kind comments. I truly hope to hear from you again.

I'm sorry to see you go! Though I'm glad you found a job.
May I suggest leaving the blog up...you never know what little snippets of time you may find that might be filled with your thoughts.

I'm so glad I still get to have you in my life... your family is one of my favorites!

I'm with Fuschia--you never know when you'll have a day here or there that you want to capture for your kids and grandkids in the future. How can I say how honored I am to be mentioned in your list?! Thank you for the kind words. I admire you for getting your priorities right. Please come by and comment and whenever time allows. God bless you, Edwina!

Thank you for letting me peak through your picket fence, even if it was for a short time.
You bet your bippy that there will be bloggers in Heaven. Maybe your mansion (and computer) will be on my block!

Yes, please leave the blog up! You never know when you might catch a minute to share something.

I am so sorry that you won't be blogging anymore. I enjoyed reading your posts. I am glad that you found a job though. Maybe you should just leave it up so you can still visit from time to time! You will be missed!
