Christmas 2010

Christmas Cookies
Christmas was wonderful.  We started out the holiday with our annual cookie baking.  This is a tradition I started years ago when the girls were little.  There is usually flour all over the kitchen and way to many cookies made, but what fun we all have.

Remembering the Birth of Jesus
Christmas Eve is always a special time for us as we gather with my family and enjoy really just being together.  Eating caroling and the annual Christmas play put on by the little ones make for a warm and loving Christmas Eve.  Just being  together and being thankful for each other and remembering what Christmas is really about, the Birth of Jesus, this is what makes Christmas.

Stockings Hung by the Chimney
with care
The Christmas Magic really starts happening at  Papa and Grammy's house. The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, hoping that little ones will soon be there.

Papa wakes up early and helps Grammy prepare a big Christmas Breakfast.  The little ones can hardly get breakfast down before they are begging to open presents.
