I don't know about you, but I am STUFFED!!! NO MORE FOOD, PLEASE!!! I was thinking of the weight loss goal that I would like to reach for myself this year and it made me think about all the food I had eaten over the Holidays. It started with:
Halloween - Chilli, hotdogs, dip and Pumpkin brownie
Thanksgiving - Roast, fried turkey and stuffin, every vegatable and casserole known to mankind, pecan pie, pound cake and smores by the firepit
Christmas - Office: Cookies and candies in every shape and size
Christmas - Home: Ham, more of every vegtable and casserole known to mankind, hot wing dip, german chocolate cake, sweet potato pie and loads of christmas cookies.
New Year's Day - Chicken and Rice, Black eyed peas and again every vegtable known to mankind, and last but not least, Dessert
Day after New Year's - TODAY - Rolaids, Pepto and a large cup of Coffee
I guess now all I have to do is wait for Valentine's Day when those delicious 'Dove' candies arrive :)
There is no better place to lull the day away, then to spend time with an old friend sitting on the front porch enjoying memories, thoughts and ponderings. I pray that as you peek through my Picket Fence that you will be blessed and may you always find peace from God. This blog is dedicated to my Children and Grandchildren, I pray that the memories and the ponderings I post here will inspire and encourage you and even make you laugh a little.

I'm a first-time visitor to your blog. I just read a few of your older posts and wanted to say welcome back! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of your mom. I'll bet the holidays were tough. And I can relate to the whole eating-too-much-at-the-holidays thing. I loved my cookies and fudge a litttttttle too much :o
